How Chris Engel Photography came to be

Chris Engel Photography started exactly one year ago. I was

supposed to use the money I had worked for to pay for college,

but I used it to buy myself a camera and some equipment. I was

trusting that even if I did not get it payed off before school

started, that God would provide the money I needed to go back.

Sure enough, I did not make the money back, but there

was money there for school. So I started to take pictures of my

nieces & nephews. What better models to take pictures of than

the kids who love being in front of a camera smiling & dancing.

As time went on, my passion for photography grew. I like to take

the kinds of pictures you will look back on and remember how

you were feeling because those feelings show right through. Yes,

I do take some posed pictures of you looking at the camera, but

the times when you will have a natural smile is when you are

looking deep into someone's eyes that you truly care about. As

soon as that button clicks, the time has stopped & you will hold

those memories close to your heart.

It's so easy to think of a picture just as a picture, but a picture can

take you back to the time when you first saw your wife walking

down the isle and as you try to hold your tears back, you can't

help but see how lucky you are to be spending the rest of your life with her.

A picture can take you back to the first time you found out you were pregnant and you
wanted to always remember
 what you

looked like with your baby inside of you.

What about the time your wife just had your baby and you saw how she looked at her

and you couldn't help but fall in love all over again. Or the first

time your husband held your baby and you felt like he would do

anything to protect you and your family.

And as time goes by, the first time a father sees his daughter dressed up in white... the day he was looking forward to walking her down the isle, but

hoping it wouldn't come to soon... these are times you reallydon't want to forget.

These pictures are NOT just pictures, they are memories you will always want to remember.
